Interactive Narrative

PRODUCTION

Animation

Starting with Sketches

The Illustrators had to start somewhere and they started with sketching out ideas and developing a storyboard.

Styles

Developing our art style was a long process, which took many designs to make it right. We used Adobe Illustrator to create the designs and some were draw by hand using a drawing pad.

Use of Photographs

We were able to implement photos into the animation for flashback scenes. We used our own camera and Adobe Photoshop to create these images.

Audio

Adobe
Audition

All the audio and sounds in the narrative were all made from scratch by our Audio Engineer and Sound Editor. They created the Foley, score and edited the voice-overs.

Voice-overs

We recorded all our voice overs in the recording studio on the DCU campus, using our own equipment.

Code

Unity

Together with Unitys built-n game design functionality and several C# scripts “BoltHalt” was born
